The article reflects the voice and tone of the Instrumentl blog. We strive to be concise, and on-the-point and refrain from using filler words.
Include proper citation of any data and resources (e.g. images) added to the article.
Note: All data references should have originated within the last 2 years.
No more than one link to your own blog or website to place in the body or footer of the guest post.
Before submitting your pitch, please do thorough research on the Instrumentl’s blog to ensure the content you planned is not already covered on the blog.
Have at least 1500 words. While we don’t enforce a strict word count, we strive to produce in-depth content pieces within the range of 2000-3000 words.
Before submitting, run your content through Grammarly for grammar accuracy and through Hemingway Editor to check the ease of understanding.
Use H2/H3 for all major headers. The title of the guest post should be the H1.
Compress images in the article using an online compression tool to not harm the site speed.
Naturally incorporate 2-3 links to related Instrumentl blog posts in the body of the article.
Example: If your guest post examines some aspect of grant writing, you may consider adding a link to our Ultimate Grant Writing Guide or to our article on Successful Grant Proposal Examples.
Include a 300-character bio with a link to your social profile and a headshot ( 200 x 200).
Cap the number of external (non-Instrumentl) links used in the article to 3 not counting the link to your own website or blog.
Use line breaks and short paragraphs to optimize for mobile readership.
